Supercharging Solar With Quantum Dots

Solar-tech company First Solar and New Mexico based advanced materials company UbiQD recently entered into a long-term commercial agreement to accelerate the integration of Quantum dots into solar panels. They apparently can be manufactured relatively inexpensively and applied like paint to silicone modules. The First Solar rollout is expected in late 2026.
